Description
It shouldn't be a problem to fit a mainboard and expansion cards into a modern PC case. However, most cases are slightly distorted which obviously leads to modding. In this example a few cards slipped out of their slots when the mainboard screws were fastened. The results were contact problems which made the operating system not recognize the cards. To avoid that a shoe lace was bound to the PCI card's slot panel so they wouldn't slip out of the slot but still be in contact with the mainboard. |
 | The upper card was fixated with the shoe lace and applies pressure to the lower card. It's a tight fit now. |
 | The shoe lace was brought to the outside through an unused back panel. |
