PCMCIA-Heatsink

Description

Some notebooks have a good cooling solution, others don't. Mine definitely belongs to the second category, which caused the PCMCIA network card to overheat after a short time so it refused to work. This made me invent a good PCMCIA cooling solution, and because I never use the upper slot it shouldn't be too difficult.

pcmcia3.jpgThe ridge had to be grinded off, otherwise the plate wouldn't conduct the heat well.
pcmcia4.jpgSome heat conductive paste smeared in between and scotch tape wrapped around
pcmcia5.jpgThe plug is taped as well so it can't be bent
