Description
Sometimes there are problems with old power plugs. There are old power bars and extension cables with just two pins (without ground). Theoretically, only devices which don't need a ground should be used but sometimes you might want to plug in a grounded device. It is very easy: Just take a power splitter and bore it up!

 | First, the splitter's ground has to be removed. Just saw off the pin in the center with cker aufa hacksaw and file the remains.
If you want to use devices with German plugs it's not a problem either. Take a drill and extend the outer holes in the splitter so the German plug fits in there. |
 | There's just one problem now: There is no ground anymore, which increases the danger of an electric shock in case of a malfunction because the non-grounded case is energized.
If you don't want to feel a nice buzz you better be careful! |
