Logic-Analyzer

Beschreibung

A logic analyzer is a device that measures a bunch of digital signals and displays them. It can distinguish between HIGH, LOW and ILLEGAL. The signals are usually displayed on a monitor or printed because they're dynamic in most cases.
But there must be a way to make it more ghetto, or cheaper in the first place. 8 LEDs, 8 transistors and a few resistors did the job. Measuring the ILLEGAL condition was not very important.
A piece of PCB (approx. 3/20" grid) keeps the whole thing in place, encased by a high-end design case made by JBG which was made of a cut and bent PVC pipe and a blue acryl plate, so the device looked professional.
(This color combination would fit a Ersa soldering iron nicely.

logic_analyzer2.jpgThe LEDs are individually placed, which gives the front panel a nicer look. :)
