!mURx got an old D-Link WLAN card from MegaMars to equip his old notebook with WLAN. The card still worked but the aluminum case was wrecked in such a way it didn't fit into the PCMCIA slot.
Bending the case back was a failure so !mURx was forced to mod...

	The case was separated from the PCB. You can see the dents in the corner of the right part. We have no idea what happened to this card.
	Instead of the case !mURx taped a piece of paper to the PCB. This is not good in terms of shielding but the slot in the notebook is shielded anyway. Of course the modded card needs the right labeling.
	The rear side of the card. It shows how the paper was taped to the PCB. Later, the card could be easily inserted into the PCMCIA slot and worked perfectly.
